Podiatry Associates in the final again!

Our Team Sponsor - Podiatry Associates (303) 805-5756

Podiatry Associates will play for the over 35 Championship against CCCP in the stadium at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (the Colorado Rapids Stadium) Monday July 13th at 7:00 PM under the lights. P. A . finished the Spring 2009 regular season undefeated as the # 1 seed with 17 points.

We would also like to welcome two new players to our team, striker Israel Peralta and Goalkeeper/defender David Wulff, both have already made a great impact on our team! At the same time we would like to thank two other great players that had to leave our team this past season, Cris White and Bob Ryan. Luckily, we will get both players back on the team for our upcoming summer tournament.

Please read all information carefully.

I was able to sort everything out regarding the championship games in the stadium next Monday. Due to the amount of recent field usage, we only have clearance to play 35 minute halves. This was a fair compromise due to the Rapids hectic July schedule. If the game ends in a tie, it will proceed straight to PK’s.

Entrance/Spectators:
All players and spectators will enter the stadium through Gate B. The players will go directly to the field and spectators must remain on the east side of the stadium.

PLEASE NOTE: All spectators are the responsibility of the captain. Spectators may sit anywhere in the East side of the stadium but cannot venture into the south stands, the field, or west stands. Only the restrooms at Gate B will be open to players and spectators. It will be the responsibility of all captains to rely this information to any player and spectator in attendance. We will have zero tolerance and if any spectator is found wandering the stadium or closed sections, the game will be immediately cancelled and whichever team they are associated with will lose the game on a forfeit, 1-0. Spectators cannot re-enter the stadium once they enter. Gate B will open 15 minutes prior to kickoff. Food and drink will be permitted but all beverages must be in a water bottle or plastic unmarked bottle (we have sponsors to look out for).

Warm Ups:
Players will be allowed toe enter 15 minutes prior to kickoff. You will have a short period of time to warm up on the stadium pitch but no warm-ups will be allowed inside the 18, including shots on goal and goalkeepers. If you need more time to warm-up, I reserved Field #19 and Field #22 for the teams. This is unorganized and first come, first serve – and no other fields are available.

Additional Notes:
All bags and belongings of players must be placed on the cement near the wall. Nothing can be set on the grass.

Game Times:
A coin toss determined the game times. The result was: Podiatry Associates Vs. CCCP 8:00 PM.

And make darn sure your families and friends know the rules.

Also the stadium Cantina will not be open tonight so the TGI Friday’s right up the road at Stapleton/Northfield is expecting us for drinks after the match if you can make it. Here is a map.
